Seller won't uphold warranty

I've made an earphone purchase on Feburary and the seller on the listing claimed that it has 1 year warranty.

The right ear piece broke in July so I tried contacting the seller for the warranty, but they won't respond to my message. How can I get ebay to intervene and resolve the issue?

Ebay sellers cannot issue warranties on items unless they are an authorized seller for the company that manufactures the item.

Have you contacted the manufacturer? Be aware that most companies will not honor warranties for items sold on Ebay because the Ebay buyer is not the original purchaser....the seller is.
