Seller protection for what?
Does it have anything to do with the negative you received?

It is Feedback abuse.

The post office delivered it broken in pieces. Not the seller's fault exactly. The box arrived all beaten up. I am so disappointed. It could've been packaged better.
This is not feedback abuse. It is a statement of the buyer's opinion of the transaction.
It could've been packaged better.
Extremely rough handling is normal handling. It's important to package items so that damage cannot occur. Receiving a damaged item is disappointing and an inconvenience for buyers. And it's avoidable in most cases.

It's not feedback abuse, it's the buyers opinion and as long as it doesn't violate the feedback policy, they won't remove it.

The buyer lied about how the item was packed. Her photos didn’t reveal the many layers of tissue and bubble wrap, or the box that was well marked ‘FRAGILE’. She got every penny back.

BTW, your answers are not helpful at all. It was by mistake that I hit that button. You gave yourself a hit, which is weird.

Sorry you didn't find the answer helpful, however it is accurate.
You were one of those who marked it as such.
You can unmark it as helpful if you want to by re-clicking the thumbs up icon.

As I pointed out, before your latest comment, I hit the thumbs up by mistake. Please read entire comment before reacting.

You wrote, "You gave yourself a hit, which is weird."
As you can see in the screenshot, I did not give myself a thumbs up (if that's what you meant by your comment).

Was it double boxed?
Sometimes tissue and bubble wrap are not enough.
Glass and fragile items like that, I always double box them for added protection.
