Question. 1) Is there a way to actually message Ebay and get a person as opposed to getting automated answers that don't answer my question?
2) I purchased something from a Seller in September of 2021. The listing says they offer a 3 year warranty on all items. I purchased a small engine rebuild kit for my chainsaw. I used the saw for like 2 days after I put it together and that was in Oct or Nov of 2021. Then we moved to across the US and I didn't get any firewood last year. The saw started to act up on the second day I used in in 2021. It didn't want to run right so I just retired it and used my other saw I had. Well, This year I got some logs delivered and I need to cut them up. This wood is big so I need this bigger saw to cut some of the log. I tried to get it started and it won't run. I found that the engine is torn up inside. It looks like the ring that came with the rebuild kit didn't hold up and is already bad and scaring the cylinder walls. The engine now isn't holding enough compression to start the saw up. I reached out to the Seller and they say they can't issue a refund because its been too long, but if I want to buy something else from them they will offer me a discount. That is not a 3 year warranty in my eyes.
Am I wrong in thinking that they have to stand behind their warranty?
3) I see no way that I can post a review of their product. Ebay changed things I assume and only gives the Buyer a small window to write a review. That is such **bleep**. How can people know who they are buying from if we can't make reviews to inform potential buyers to beware of Sellers? Is there anything Ebay will do to help and/or a way to write an review that I am missing?

You can contact eBay through the Help & Contact page, but eBay does not get involved in warranty issues.
Feedback can only be left within sixty days of a transaction. Product reviews are different, though.
If you purchased a third party warranty, contact the warranty service directly.
eBay's money back guarantee, which is not a warranty, only applies in the first thirty days after receipt of the item.
Manufacturer's warranties typically only apply if you purchase the item from an authorized dealer; check with the manufacturer to see what your options are.
A warranty is only as good as the reputation of whoever offers it. A claim of a three year warranty made by a random seller on eBay is not worth much. Neither you nor eBay can force the seller to honor the warranty if the seller disappears or ignores you.
You may have some protection from PayPal or your payment method; PayPal and many credit cards may offer up to six months protection for your purchases.
