Seller not responding for return

Bought a very expensive piece of gold jewelry.  Sent the seller many messages but they haven't responded to any. The only message they responded to was the first message I had ever sent them before I bought the item it was question about the item. The item weighs less than what their description suggests and also upon close inspection there are flaws and damage on it. I started the return and I got the automatic return label but the seller still isn't responding so I'm not sure how that's supposed to go if I package it and return it what happens if they still don't respond?
