The scam typically begins with the creation of highly appealing and realistic plant images using AI technology. These images are then used to create listings for seeds of these fictional plants. The sellers market these seeds with enticing descriptions, often claiming they are rare, exotic, or recently discovered species. Buyers, attracted by the prospect of owning such unique plants, purchase the seeds, often at premium prices.
After weeks or even months of nurturing the seeds with hopes of seeing the promised plants grow, buyers are left disappointed when nothing sprouts, or if something does, it is a common plant species far from the advertised fantasy.
I have reported this to Ebay hopefully they take action on many of these sellers that are scamming people.
