Saved Searches

Hello,

I have a number of saved searches for items that I follow.

I usually get email alerts every morning based on my list of saved searches.

Once in a while, I will not receive any email alerts (this happened again this morning). 

Does anyone have an idea as to why eBay periodically pauses their email alerts?

Also is there a way for me to change email alert preferences?  For example, my email alerts usually arrive to my gmail inbox around 8:00 AM each morning, but can I change the time to  say 7:00 AM?

I’ve sometimes gone days without receiving Saved Search notifications … which I’ve assumed is a temporary glitch OR no items were listed that matched my search criteria.

There is no way I know of to change the time for receiving email alerts. They come when they come.

Thanks.  I have many saved searches.  I normally receive 60-80 email alerts every day.  So it is impossible that there are no new items today.  There must be a reason.  And hopefully someone knows how to set the time of the email alerts.  That would be helpful.
