Hello, I am new to eBay selling an recently sold an item on eBay. The price of the item sold was $100 and shipping fees were set at $20. The buyer paid the $100 and the $20 shipping. I made a shipping label one by accident for $7 and another for $12. I recently received the payout and it was only $82. How was the payout only $82 if the buyer paid the price of the item and the price of shipping? The payout breakdown indicated that the shipping was taken from the $100?

Don’t forget that eBay takes a fee from your payment - probably 13+% of the total from the buyer, so around $17. Also, if you bought 2 labels, you paid for 2 labels - the refund for a voided label takes about 3 weeks, assuming it was usps. Did you void the unused label?
The buyer paid you for the shipping, you then buy the label.
Go to your payment account to see the payout, and also view the buyer’s payment to see the fees deducted.

Thank you for the response. I did not realize eBay took that much. I also have not voided the unused label due to whenever I select manage label it says it’s not loading and to try again later.

Yes, you should read about the fees before selling 🙂
You had 5 days to void the label, so it is probably too late now. You could try asking customer service for assistance, if you have been getting the same message since you bought the label.
To speak to customer service, use the link on the left side of this page “have us call you” - https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4002&st=10
If you don't see 'have us call you' right under the chat link, click chat. Then at the bottom of the chat topics, click more, then click contact an agent.
