I recently sold two identical laptops about two weeks apart, both to international buyers who ended up shipping to Delaware (eBay also charged me an international buyer fee?). I see no way to block international buyers. Regardless, the buyer of the first laptop (shipped about a month ago) came up with a ridiculous excuse for the item being "defective" and asked me to refund some of the money or accept the return. I looked around and this appears to be a common scam. I send him a return label. I wonder if I will get the original laptop back at all - or if they will damage it, or if they will send me an empty box or whatever else...
Now I would be surprised if this doesn't happen with the second laptop in a couple weeks.
Anybody else fall prey to this sort of thing?
