Return exchange

I accidentally sent the wrong pair of pants to the customer. She is new to EBAY and so am I. She was finally able to start a request for a refund. I sent her a mailing label.  Then I found the pants. The customer still wants the pants. Do I have to wait till I receive the wrong pants, issue the refund and start all over again or can I do an exchange and pay the shipping to her for the inconvenience of the mix up.

Return exchange

If the pants are in transit, what you do is refund the buyer once they are received.  In the meantime, you can relist the pants, send the buyer the item number, buyer then purchases and sends payment to you, and you ship.
