Hello,
I purchased an item from an eBay seller that had free returns within 6 days. The item I purchased did not fit, so I started a return. The seller did not offer free shipping as described in the item listing and the only way to get my money back was to pay $8 for shipping. I cancelled the return and asked the seller for a shipping label. The seller did not respond and now, I cannot start a new return. What can I do?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @ddcardscollectables Sorry this happened to you, but since you cancelled the return, you won't be able to return through eBay's return process. The seller would now have to voluntarily agree, but eBay can't make them do that except through the Money Back Guarantee return process.
Free returns (free return shipping cost) must apply to any reason for the return (even for fit or buyer's remorse), and sellers cannot actually limit free returns to less than 30 days (or 14 days in a few categories). If a seller is offering free returns they can only offer 14-day, 30-day, or 60-day free returns.
It sounds like this seller isn't really signed up to offer free returns, since they were charging you for the return shipping cost. Check the Returns detail in the listing. If they are misrepresenting the free returns policy in their listing description, you could report the seller for their listing practices.
