Why am I being charge. “Reserve listing fee” on a item that I removed a day after it was listing with no bids…listing was removed by me because it sold on another platform. It wasn’t on eBay fir longer than 24 hours?! Why was I charged?
Are the fees being changed BEFORE you sell a item now??
Please help this was a $225 fee!!

Reserve fees are charged the minute a listing goes live and are non refundable.

@hersh325 Reserve listing fees are charged from the moment you list the item.
Reserve Price is an optional listing upgrade and has an additional fee of 7.5% or $5, whichever is greater, even if your item doesn't sell. When listing if you see any $ mentioned at the bottom of the screen before hit submit that is an optional upgrade fee and due even if the item doesn't sell. I have never used an optional upgrade.
You should always start your auction at the same price as you would have used for the reserve and save yourself some money on fees. If you get more bids then that's great.
You can contact CS and see if they will give you a one-time courtesy refund of the fees or not
If you have a North American phone number, you can select the option to have eBay call you.
(If you don't have a +1 phone number, then use the human chat option or social media instead.)
1 . https://www.ebay.com/help/account/contact-ebay/contact-ebay?id=4379&st=12&pos=1&query=Contact%20eBay...
Scroll to the bottom of the screen, click "contact us". Drill down to the topic you need assistance with.
When the chat box pops up if live help is needed click "see more" then click "contact an agent". This bypasses the chatbot and you can either chat with or get a call back from a real person.
If you are using a cell phone turn off the spam filter or it may block the call back
2. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
