Reimbursement of Final Value Fee

I refunded a paid item after the buyer was dissatisfied. I did the refund directly through Pay Pal. However, ebay still charged me the final value fee. How do I get that back?

eBay and PayPal are two separate companies so what you do on one site is not necessarily known by the other site.  If you do not make the refund through eBay then you have to let them know by cancelling the purchase.  This must be done within 30 days of purchase or you will not receive a final value fee refund.
