I returned a controller to the seller bc it had stick drift weeks ago. I just assumed I would receive my refund. I noticed yesterday in my email that eBay closed the case. Then I checked to see if I got my refund & I didn’t. The seller then said I sent a different controller back. Absolutely not true. I tried to appeal but it says I can’t bc the case is closed. What do I do?

Once tracking showed Delivered back to the seller, the seller had 2 days to refund you. If no refund, you should have gone back to the case and clicked Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund. After refunding, the seller could then file a report about the received item. Since the case is closed because you did not do anything, you can try filing with Paypal if that is how you paid. As a last resort, file a chargeback with your credit card issuer if that is how you paid.
