Received account invoice showing total amount due -$147.99

I haven't sold since 2011. I received an account invoice in my E-mail that says "Total invoice amount due -$147.99. The account is up to date. No payment is due at this time." (The -$147.99 is in green.)

This prompted me to looked at my account & messages in Ebay & messages show I received this message also in Feb but my E-mail didn't show that one. I looked at my account & show no selling. I have purchased some things from time to time. I use to have a store I still paid fees on thinking I would get back to selling but it is no longer & was deleted way back. So, I'm not being charged anymore. I tried that virtual assistant but that is no help. Question is how do I contact a real person at Ebay? Thanks

Hi @threadssew

It looks like you are OWED $147.99 ... indicated by the minus sign AND the color green!  😊

Contact eBay and verify that you do, indeed, have a CREDIT balance ... and then ask how you can gain possession of it.  [eBay used to send seller a check for the balance ... but I'm not sure if that's still the way it's done.]

There is no incoming phone number for buyers or sellers. If you want a call back from eBay Customer Service, here is how to get a call:

Start at an article close to your question . Maybe this one would work:

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/fees-credits-invoices-overview?id=4070

Scroll to the Bottom of the page similar to your question

1) Click "Contact Us" then:

In the CHAT WINDOW

2) Type "I need help"
3) Click "Selling" (or your topic)
4) Type "Agent" in the chat window
5) You may need to click "Something Else" or "More Options"
6) Click “Have Us Call You” (or "Chat with an Agent")

-- If you use a call filter on your phone, turn it off temporarily, or it might block the incoming call.

I believe this (green) indicates a credit balance.

I just talked with someone & they did confirm they owe me & will be mailing me a check. It could be up to 30 days for me to receive the check. Thanks for your response.
