My buyer keeps sending my a message requesting me to email or text them. I’ve replied thru eBay asking what is their question and I did end up sending them an email in which I got no response. Is this a scam? Advice on what to do, please and thanks!

It can be a scam.
Did the buyer already make the purchase? And no payment yet on the normal way through Checkout?
Cancel as soon as you can for not paying. Go after 4 days to https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/resolving-unpaid-items?id=4137
Block the buyer for future purchases. Go to https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/resolving-buyer-issues/blocking-buyer-ebay?id=4082
Report the buyer: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/resolving-buyer-issues/report-issue-buyer?id=4084
Don't answer messages, especially not as email.
After being paid, do not send the item to a different address.
