Pushy buyers requesting your cell phone and email address.

Hello,  I just started selling on eBay and got two interested people to buy my items however,  they were asking for my personal phone and email.  Has anyone else experience this? One person was very pushing and I felt like I was trying to get scammed. I eventually canceled both orders due to this weird feeling.  And I never received payments on the orders. I told them all transactions go through ebay. Has this happened to anyone else?

They're scammers, ignore them, that's what I do

Yes, those are scammers. If you allow them four days of non-payment, and then cancel on the fifth pay for non-payment, at least they will receive a defect. With enough defects, eBay will block them.

I hope you chose the right reason for the cancellation so you will not earn defects against yourself.
