I would just like some feedback from the eBay community because I am new to selling, although I’ve purchased quite a bit. I purchased a particular item for about $1500 from a seller 12 days ago. The tracking information shows that the item was packaged and the label was printed and sent to the US PS on the 14th. It was due to arrive on the 18th and never arrived. Today, 12 days after the purchase the money has been debited from my credit card, and I still don’t have the item, and the tracking information shows that it hasn’t left the origination location, even though the label was printed. I reported it to eBay and they said they can’t get involved until the 27th which would be a week from today. I am concerned about getting my money back from this person who is obviously a scammer. Do I go to my credit card company and tell them that I didn’t receive this item and I think I’m being scammed and reported as fraud ? I can get my credit card company to reverse these charges.. or do I wait for this eBay moneyback guarantee?

the estimated delivery date timelines are shown on your order details
if you don't receive your item within that timeline, you can open an item not received case starting the next day after the last estimated delivery date for up to 30 days.

If none of the above works, open a credit card dispute or a PayPal case if that is how you paid

If you opened up an item not received case Ebay allows the seller a few days to respond.
Then you can ask ebay to step in.
Did you get to open a case as you said it was suppose to be delivered on the 18th?
I would wait on the ebay money back guarantee because once you open up a claim with your credit card it overrides ebay and the MBG will close so you then can pursue the claim with your credit card.
Ebay's money back guarantee can be quicker than your credit card also.

There are 2 of you with same non-receipt issue on GPU purchases, based on the feedback - it looks to me like fraud listings on a hacked account.
What reason did eBay CS give you to wait until the 27th - is that the "latest" estimated delivery date?
