Promoted Listing seems pointless

I unknowingly promoted my listing when I was using the mobile app. I know I pushed the “yes” button when the promote listing screen popped up when I meant to oust “no”.  I noticed what I had done, and decided to leave it alone to see if there was a benefit, but my listing only has generated 2 views in two days, and if promoting does nothing but that, I don’t want to pay extra. Can I turn off the “promote” or do I have to cancel and re-list?

Are people not shopping EBay anymore? I get very little activity. I started my listing on the higher end of what I’ll take ,  but only 2 views in a popular category is abysmal. I’ve not experienced this in the nearly 20 years I’ve sold on here.

All of your listings are TY beanie babies with the exception of one listing.  That is the problem.  Beanie babies are slow sellers. 

I had resisted using promoted listings, but decided to try it on all of my listings at 3% and I am getting sales from it.

The beanie babies aren’t what I’m referring to. I’m about to pull all the beanie babies. I’m talking about the Kate Spade purse. The beanie babies were just a long shot before donating, but they were hard work to make the listings and I haven’t wanted to ditch them lol.
