Hello. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having problems with FedEx charging more--much more--than what you purchased the label for on ebay?
I hardly ever use FedEx but the few times that I have, they ALWAYS end up charging about double what I thought I was going to pay! First time I thought I must've not weighed my item properly or measured wrong, so after that, I've made sure it's accurate. But I still get charged a CRAZY amount.
This last one I thought I was going to pay about $21 and I just got charged $41!!!
I haven't contacted FedEx because I have no idea how I would prove to them they are wrong--
Anyone ever had success disputing something like this?
Thanks!

With both FedEx and UPS, the fee that Ebays shows is only an estimate.
They both like adding other charges before you get the final bill.
You don't pay until after the package has been delivered.

I understand that. But when I enter the dimensions and weight for UPS and USPS, I pay exactly what they "quoted" but with FedEx even if I inflate my dimensions and weight a bit, i get charged $15 or $20 more...and in items where i was supposed to make a $5-$10 profit! I think as sellers we need an exact amount so that we can select what works best for our sale profits.
It's so unfair and frustrating, especially when I don't have a way of proving they overcharged me.
I appreciate your response. I have just decided not to use FedEx because they do not honor their prices through ebay.
Thanks again. Have a great day:)
