Problem with your bid

Anyone have this experience before?  I am not new to the process.

At the last 45 seconds on an Auction, I submitted my bid 3 times.  It

appeared to accept it, a screen popped up and said there was a 

problem with my bid, then rejected it.  I had the winning bid, there

was time still left on the clock, yet the system wouldn't take it.

My bid was higher than the winning bid.

The error message would have told you what the problem was.   There are many possible reasons why a bid might be rejected, but a rejected bid is an invalid bid and cannot be the "winning bid".  And you have no idea how high the winning bid actually was--you only see the price which is usually 1 bid increment over the highest bid of the second highest bidder.

You need to read and try to understand the error message (or copy it and paste it into a post here for us to interpret it for you), not keep submitting without fixing the problem (if it is fixable).
