Problem when trying to Contact Seller

I have had an issue for some time when trying to write a message to any seller, using my PC.  After clicking on the Contact Seller button and the screen displays the Seller's username and the item I have purchased, there is nowhere to type the message.

The space between the ebay warning and the Send Message does not allow me to enter any text and of course, the Send Messgae button is grayed out as there is no message to send.

I'm running Windows 10 which is up to date and using Chrome as my browser.  Switching to Edge makes no difference.

I've attached a screenshot showing what I see and would like to request some advice on fixing this, please.

Re: Problem when trying to Contact Seller

Where it says "Send Message" above the blue button is where you should click and begin typing.  Is it not allowing you to begin typing if you click on that text?  Not between that text and the button, but directly on that text?  I know it's not super intuitive.

Re: Problem when trying to Contact Seller

Hi Jonathan, thanks for responding.   Yes, that worked okay but as you say, it is not super intuitive.

It's probably a good few years since I've had to contact a seller but I don't recall ever having a problem back then.  Perhaps ebay has changed the layout of the screen at some point but it does seem strange having that big empty area which could easily be used for text.

Anyway, thanks again for your input.

Al
