I have sold a ton of stuff on eBay and just encountered the weirdest thing. A Shirt was listed at 24.99 with “buy it now” and “accept offers” was set to $21. Shirt sold for 19.99. I have no idea how that would happen. Any thoughts??

It's possible the listing had "Automatic Offers" turned on.

Use the website to get this set up correctly.

You can find the listings with Automatic offers on here

https://www.ebay.com/sh/mktv2/offers

Click the boxes beside the offers you want to end

Click End in the upper right (it appears after you have selected one or more listings)

Check any future offers you send to confirm the switch is OFF as shown here:

Once you have de-selected sending offer automatically a few times, it will "stick" and work on the offers sent by phone app too.
