Does anybody know where your funds go ...to what bank specifically when you make a large dollar amount purchase 20k ?     I am attempting to estblish the veracity of the payment info I was sent....something doesn't seem right.

You need to give us more info.  What are you purchasing? What is the item #?

Most payments go through eBay's payment processor, not a bank, but some items like autos and industrial equipment do not.
