Post Office searching for package, anyone have experience this?

The package I sent to my buyer via the postal service is missing. I requested a search but the buyer wants to get a refund. The problem is the package is addressed and will be forwarded to the buyer once the package is found. What should I do with a very impatient buyer?

If the estimated date of delivery has passed and the buyer has filed a Refund Request, you will be required to issue the refund.

You can try requesting a package intercept to have the package redirected to you instead of being delivered to the buyer if it is located. The cost is around $18.
