Placing a request for an item

We have several items we have not been able to locate.  I understand that it is possible to put a request for something on eBay that I am looking for, but I can't figure how to do that.  Please advise me.  kfrohrer@columbus.rr.com

That feature was called Want It Now.  It seemed like a good idea at the time, but in practice it flopped.  The feature was discontinued years ago.

About the only thing you can do on eBay is to run a search for the item you want to find, then save the search.  Then, when someone lists an item that matches your search, eBay notifies you.  I've never used it myself, so I can't say how reliable it is.  More here:   https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/search-tips/saved-searches?id=4051
