Paypal asking for payment info when I am already set up

My ebay account has been connected to my checking account via paypal for years . i tried to make an offer on something today and getting a pop up message telling me to add payment information. Not sure how to check that or change/update but my  bank account info has not changed

eBay is requiring some users to provide a payment method when making an offer or when bidding. This is relatively new. You may have to provide your PayPal details or a credit card number to make an offer or bid if the seller requires it.

Thank you. That is ridiculous though considering I have used Ebay for years and my account is linked to my paypal
