Hi i have been selling on ebay for 49 days. In that time they have put my payouts on hold for 22 days and counting. The first time i called and they explained it was a routine procedure and everyone goes thru and my funds would be released after 5 days. Not the case, they release the hold for 5 hours and place my funds on hold for another 9 days. After complaining the customer service rep was very nice and said it was an internal matter and she would make sure it did not happen again. Today the cycle repeats. Ebay put my payouts on hold for 5 days, i call this afternoon and spoke with Frank who informs me the hold is lifted. Literally 10 mins later the hold is back. This time they want tracking numbers for my active items, not sold items, but active listings. I have called 5 times and sent 3 emails stating how can i send you tracking numbers and proof of delivery on active unsold items?? Crazy right?? So at my 5th call i finally it transferred to the trust dept or whatever its name is, i get an agent called Ice. Nothing she said made scents. Then they remove all my active items. Over a 100 listings....delete & gone. Hours and hours of work gone. Of course she did not care. She kept repeating the same thing over and over. Then she said i had to send over proof of purchase for everything i was selling because my selling looks fraudulent and suspicious. In other words, she was calling me a crook or thief. I was outraged!!! My husband has been selling for years on ebay and has never had any of these issues. I did contact an attorney today because i feel my account has been single outed and harrassment plus holding up my much needed money!! Has anyone experienced this? Or any advise? This is the 2nd time they have deleted my active items and i didnt get so much as a "sorry". My attorney said to contact the current CEO and send ebay a bill for damages. Can anyone help??

I guess you will need to figure out what your actual damages are. Unfortunately, the CEO isn't reachable by the users of eBay.
Here is a link to the eBay help page about why payments are held.
eBay CS reps will often say anything to get the caller off the line.
ETA: Buyers who pay through PayPal or their credit card have 180 days to file a claim. eBay is not the venue to get quick money. Sellers always need a float in their checking account that will cover the most expensive item sold in the last 6 months.

Hi. I do have the CEO information. Her name is Jamie Lunnone. After talking with 5 different ebay agents, they gave me her contact info. I am sending her a bill for damaged causes when they deleted all my active listings demanding tracking numbers. Crazy that ebay sees nothing wrong with the request. I guess i need to use my Crystal ball to see who will buy my active items!!! Anyway, i am basing the damages on the time it took to upload 125 individual listing and all the lost revenue from all the active bids that they canceled. That alone was over $500!!! Two auctions were minutes away from ending when they shut me down. Anyway....what do you think?
