I have never experienced this. Buyer in another country bought an item. Did not disclose was in Singapore. I sent to a USA address. She decided the material used on the items are not mother of pearl. I assured her it was. She contacted me 45 days after they were delivered in the USA. I declined the return. She left a negative that I am a liar, a criminal and a scammer. Ebay removed the feedback. She has now opened a payment dispute with her credit card. I didn't accept her credit card, EBAY DID. I was asked for some information on the transaction which I provided. My funds are on hold. Luckily this is a small transaction and only $50 is being held. It has now been two weeks. I have no idea why MY FUNDS are on hold. If eBay has sided with me on the transaction, then were is MY seller protection. This doesn't bother me as much as knowing that this practice even exists. What if this had been a $1,000 item? How long does it take for eBay to clear my funds or will they??I assume if it is like everything else eBay does, it is all automated and the side of the buyer will be taken.

Can anyone answer this question. Does eBay automatically bend the knee to the buyer and take the money out of my account and agree with the chargeback? Is there even any such thing as seller protection?? Thank you for a reply.

As time passed, my question was answered. Yes, eBay automatically pays with your money to the buyer and adds insult to injury by charging a $20 fee because EBAY ACCEPTS the credit card that the seller cannot control. If you try to call about this issue, you are not allowed to do anything more than send an email, you cannot speak to a thinking, well, that is a stretch, human being. Why is their no buyer protection? because that is eBay's rule, does that make it right, of course not. Is it right that I cannot leave an honest feedback to warn other seller about this buyer? No, it is not right, but it is an eBay rule. Is it right that I can only use eBay payment method? No, but it is an eBay rule! So do all these wrongs might a right? Of course not.
