Paying additional postage

I received an item I purchased through eBay and the USPS is asking me to pay additional postage.  Do I contact the seller to refund me the additional postage so I can pay it to the USPS?  The item had a set shipping fee that was included with the auction, and I paid for the item and that shipping cost when I won and purchased the item.

You can contact the seller - hopefully they will co-operate.  You can send them a picture of the receipt or the bill for the postage due.  You are allowed to refuse tha package on the grounds that postage is due.  then the seller would have to reship at their own expense.  But they could opt to cancel the sale also - which you wouldn't have to agree to.  Or you can pay the postage and then file for item not as described and ask for a partial refund of the monies you paid for the added postage.
