So I just won a bid. The seller messages me that he is away and wont be back for about 5 days til he can ship it. If he didnt put it in his description can i cancel the order? It seems fishy.

Only the seller can cancel the order, so you would have to ask him to cancel. Otherwise, you have to wait until the order is late before you can file a not received claim.

Scammers don't usually send messages.
