OVERCHARGE OF SELLER'S FEE!

On March 11, at 4:50 pm, I contacted Customer Service “Help Page” with the verbiage below and was never contacted!

“OVERCHARGE OF SELLER'S FEE!” My Feb. sales was $51.15, the amount debited after sales & credited to my bank was $27.93, that’s 45% retained by eBay, after buying the shipping labels, I’m left with ONLY $13.00, with a loss on the sales. ****IS THIS A RIP-OFF?

Today, I received my Mar. sales and eBay retained 36% of the sales.

Does anyone out there have any idea what is going on with these outrageous percentages?

Thank you,

OVERCHARGE OF SELLER'S FEE!

You need to look at the details.  Try not to be so upset, it is highly likely you just misunderstand something.  It is highly unlikely that you are being overcharged for fees, but you can EASILY see the details.  You can go to your Summary page for Payments and on the right side of the screen are details.  You can see exactly what was deducted.  You should take a peek as you are likely going to get your answers.

Ebay does not charge ANY seller 36% or 45% if fees.  But if you are consider your cost to ship as an Ebay fee, which they are not, they are a carrier cost is the only way you can inflate the percentage that high.

Sometimes when you ship a new order and the funds are not yet cleared, the cost of the shipping label will come out of your Available funds.  And that is highly likely what you are seeing, but go and look at the details.
