Notifications Not Working

My notifications arent working anymore. I checked on my phone settings and in the app, they are turned on. I rebooted my phone. Also when I go to my notifications page on the ebay app, the screen is blocked out and says 'something went wrong' at the bottom.  I'm currently in a chat with Ebay on FB. Anyone else have this issue, and solve it? Should I reinstall the ebay app? I have an active offer on a listing, that I didn't know about until today. It has 10 hrs before it expires.

Try uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your phone, then installing the latest version of the eBay app once more. 

Then check your notification settings again.

I forgot to get on here to update, I restarted my phone and it worked. Thank you for your response and advice on this!
