I bought a set of church gift rings for $27.47, I received the rings on time but they were in Spanish. I filed for a return. The seller offered me $5 to resolve the issue. I just wanted me money back and I declined. I also messaged the seller and they said they would provide me the shipping label to return the item so they could refund the money. They never sent the label and eBay told me the case is closed as I took too long. I have records of over 5 different messages of the seller telling me they would pay shipping and they never did until it just said the case is closed. I just want my money back, there is nothing I can do with these gifts in Spanish! Our organization is also a nonprofit, we are being scammed.

You needed to take action by going back to your Return Request within the time frame specified to ask Ebay to step in to help you. Since you let the time lapse, Ebay closed the case due to inactivity within the case, no matter how many messages you sent to the buyer.

I kept trying to do that and couldn’t figure it out, can I do this still? 😞

@trhal-541. Sorry once the case is closed it can't be opened again.
Your only option is to contact your bank or credit card and file a chargeback for an item that's significantly not as described. The seller will wish that they had helped you since they will have to issue a full refund AND will be charged a $20 charge back fee.

Thank you very much! That’s what I shall do!
