New Seller Needs Help

Hello - any help is appreciated. I sold an item a couple of weeks ago. (A shipping label was automatically created.) The buyer needed the item by a certain date, and asked if I could use a different street address. At my own expense, I shipped the item to the desired address in an expedited manner. The item delivered on October 30, 2024. The problem is eBay has my funds “On Hold”, as it doesn’t show the item as delivered - apparently working off the original shipping label. The automated assistant just takes me in circles. Today I found a place to edit the tracking number. I did so, but now it simply shows as being shipped today. Again, any help is appreciated. You made a big mistake.

Sellers are required to ship to the shipping address Ebay provided. If you shipped elsewhere, it will show as never delivered. The buyer may be able to file a Refund Request due to Item Not Received and Ebay will find in favor of the buyer, issuing a refund from your account.
