WHY cant you leave negative feedback for bidders who buy a item but dont pay?? It will give sellers a heads up about non paying bidders. Also when you look up items that sold, your item appears when it actually hasnt been sold.

eBay's reasoning is here:

By the time such a warning is seen by a seller, it is too late. Sellers do not have the option to cancel a transaction due to "bad feedback".
After four days you can cancel the transaction for nonpayment to give the buyer a strike and prevent feedback from being left. If you cancel earlier or for other reasons, the buyer will not get a strike.
Giving a non-payer a strike is the best way to give other sellers a heads-up -- in fact, it is better than a heads-up since sellers can preemptively block users with two or more strikes automatically.
Add the user to your Blocked Buyer List to prevent that particular user from bidding on or buying any more of your listings, regardless of what other sellers do.

Be sure to set your Buyer Requirements to preemptively block bids or purchases from users with two or more unpaid item strikes in the last year.
You can avoid unpaid items by listing your item for a fixed price with immediate payment required and by not accepting offers.

The way to stop non-payers is to cancel the transaction on the 5th day after the sale so that they earn an unpaid item strike on their account. Feedback doesn't and wouldn't do that.
Sellers who set their preferences to auto-block buyers with 2 or more unpaid item strikes don't need a heads up as repeat offenders can't buy their items. Additionally, sellers never look at feedback received by a buyer as it's meaningless. What sellers look at is the feedback the buyer leaves for others.
Go here:

1. Add your non-payer to your blocked buyer list.
2. Scroll down the page and turn on the option to auto-block buyers with 2 or more unpaid items within 12 months.
Whenever you have a sale, it's counted as a sale not matter what happens afterwards (non-payment, refund, cancellation...)

Sellers have been unable to leave negative feedback for buyers for almost 15 years.
Leaving negative feedback for nonpaying buyers never solved anything, other than making the buyer mad enough to leave retaliatory negative feedback.
Sellers cannot check every single bidder/buyer in advance to see their feedback.
Place the non-paying buyer on your Blocked Buyer List:

Set your buyer requirements to block buyers who caused cancellations of 2 unpaid purchases within 12 month(s).
