Any other seller having issues filing a damage claim with UPS? Getting this message with UPS online, "

Cannot submit claim.

To report a claim as the shipper, the account number associated with this package needs to be added to your profile payment options. [UPS:E024]"

Anybody have the eBay UPS account number handy?? or know a way around this situation.

did u call UPS and ask? I haven't encountered this situation.

Ask the buyer to send photos of the damaged item, the outer package, the inner packaging, the shipping label, and set everything to the side in case the carrier wants to inspect the item. Refund the buyer. If you paid for insurance, or shipped via Fed Ex or UPS, you will then go online and file an insurance claim, sending the photos the buyer sent you. The carrier may want to inspect the item. If the carrier accepts the insurance claim, they will send you a check.

Yes I did and they told me to contact eBay since the UPS shipping label was purchased from my eBay account. UPS is telling me that the UPS account number is EBays account number.

I called eBay and spent over 30 mins on the phone with them but really didn’t get anywhere (well at least of what I could understand).

Thanks for the reply, we are past that step as that has already be completed (since late June)

the claim has been approved and now I just need to login UPS claims dept to unload my receipt so they can send me the payment.

they need my Claim Number (which I have) and the UPS Shipper Account number. And since I purchased the label with eBay it needs to EBays UPS Account Number
