I had a buyer ask me about a ring, she asked me if some of the stones were glued in. I started to reply to her in messages but then decided I would send her an offer and use the space there to send the details about the ring. Letting her know that I did not see any prongs or a bezel holding them in. That is all that would fit in the message space in the offer. Then I sent an additional message through the messages tab, if she wanted me to take more close up pictures for her I would. I never heard back from her until I got the notice she purchased the ring. I wanted to make sure there was record that I told her I was not sure how the stones were held in place. But the message I sent in the offer pop up is not saved in the messages. Should I re message her in case she did not see the offer message. I have never had a not as described issue, and I am sending the ring to a PO Box, not sure why people have issue with po boxes. I just don't want to get scammed out of this ring. If I had record of me replying to her I would feel better.

@crazyoldladyjewelry " on record" in an eBay message will not protect you from a not as described return request.
You sold the ring so now you need to ship within your stated handling time once the buyer pays.
You are correct that shipping to PO boxes is safe.

@crazyoldladyjewelry No problem. How did the ring sale turn out?

I contacted her and told her everything I knew about the ring sent super close ups and told her I didn't want her to be unhappy. She thanked me, and we agreed to cancel the sale. I added the pics to the listing and the info, and it sold a week later and everyone is happy. Yay
