Logging out

I am new to eBay, and haven’t been able to log out of my account. 

I tried the log out button under help & contact but this doesn’t work.  Help says there is a log out at top left corner when you click your name but I don’t see that.   Any help would be appreciated.

The reply you got is how you log off of a computer.  You see your name in upper left corner....Hi (your name).  Hover the mouse over that and a drop down menu appears with SIGN OUT at the bottom.

I do not know how to log off if using the ebay app on a cell phone.

If you are using the eBay app, use the My eBay icon at the bottom of the main screen. From there, scroll down to Settings, select that and you should see a sign out option.

That applies when you're on the transactions side, by that I mean the section where you can search, make purchases, etc.  Here on the community side, the logout link is under your avatar at the top right corner of the page.  These pertain to eBay running on a computer ... I don't know how to log out from the mobile app either.
