Logging In to eBay

There wasn't any topic choice for my question in the eBay help section. So I'm here hoping someone can help...

Problem: Recently every single time I come to eBay I'm asked to log in, and play the stupid little

"I'm Not A Robot"  game...

Nothing about me has changed and I'm logging in on the same device as always. I don't sign out when I leave, and even if I leave eBay for five mins,  I have to repeat the whole process again... It's extremely frustrating..  Can anyone help me out ?? I'd sure appreciate.... Thanks..JW

Logging In to eBay

I only have to go through verification after erasing my browser cookies, changing my IP-address, using a brand new browser, or signing in to an unfamiliar eBay site such as ebay.fr instead of ebay.com.

Using a VPN or hotspot, or using certain kinds of privacy software can change your IP-address, which would cause you to go through verification again the next time you signed in.

If your browser is set to erase cookies when you close it, or if you are using a cleaner program to periodically erase your cookies, then the next time you go to eBay you will have to sign in and go through verification again.

There may be other things that can cause additional verification, such as if your account has sign ins from far off locations that might cause eBay to use heightened security features.

A corrupt or blocked browser cookie can also cause issues; it might be worth manually erasing just your eBay cookies once to see if that makes any difference.

Actually that makes a lot of sense.

I, personally have not made any such changes to my device. But that doesn't mean that my device hasn't made changes on it's own.

I'll take a look, and see if l can find anything my device that

seems different or out of place.

Thank you...JW
