I am listing an item for local pickup. When trying to submit the listing I get an error that I cannot ask for immediate payment on local pick up. Tells me to make the necessary changes in order to list. I have no clue what they are talking about. If I go to Edit on the payment section I only have a buy it now or auction option. I checked my Business policies for Local Pickup and there is nothing there that I can change regarding payment. How or where do I go to make the change? I tried to get an answer from the chat but it told me if I was having a problem I need to compete my seller account information or something to that effect. I've sold 3 things on local pick up and never had a problem. What changed and how do I fix it?

@onlyavision Do you have the box checked in account settings to require a payment method from buyers before they make an offer>
https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements Uncheck the box at the bottom of the buyer requirements page and see if that helps.
The other option is if you are using the advanced listing tool that is located in Seller Hub for a Buy It Now listing you can turn Immediate Payment required off in the payments Preferences section by unchecking the box.
This section is near the bottom of the listing tool.

Yes in Preferences the immediate payment option is checked - It is a buy it now. However, it is grayed out so I am unable to uncheck it. Where it says payments managed by ebay, it has a bunch of numbers in green. I can click on that but it just shows the same thing.
I don't know what the advanced listing tool If I am using it, it's by accident. I just click on CREATE LISTING.

@onlyavision You are using the Advanced Listing Tool. Which is the one you should use as the other listing tool is lacking many features.
It sounds like you are opted in to Business Policies and are not familiar with how they work.
You have two choices edited the business policy OR OPT out of Business policies on this page>
