Listing issue with shipping....

Has anyone had a listing that when the buyer selects to purchase and enter shipping they receive a message that the seller does not ship to their location?

I have ended the listing, recreated, revised, created a brand new one and it seems to continue.  However all of my other listings seem fine.  So far, about 6 of 900 + listings are having this issue.

Thus, buyer cannot purchase, and if I tell them to pay me thru paypal using my email, I get flagged the msg won't send.  Basically, no way to sell to the seller.

Thoughts?

Sorry I've got to take a break, something else has come up

You can try asking on the Shipping board for more help if you need an answer fairly soon - they're helpful over there.

What are the Item#s of some of these and where is the buyer located - U.S. or another country?

Someone can look at them and help you figure out what's wrong.

It's against policy to tell a buyer to pay you w PayPal - that's taking it off eBay, so don't ever do that no matter how frustrated you get.

Re: Listing issue with shipping....

I get the same error on that one too - so your shipping is not set up correctly.

Have you checked your Shipping section in that listing with a good listing to see what the difference is?

Yes, over and over.  I've even ended the listing and created a brand new one, and same issue.   The only thing I think could of been a factor, was while I was listing early January, I changed my email in paypal to a current email address.  But regardless, creating a new listing should not have this issue.  None of my other listings seem to have this issue??

How do you get thru to an actual person with ebay? I can't seem to get thru using their help/contact system.

Your PayPal account doesn't have anything to do with selling on eBay anymore since Managed Payments.

For that item -what service are you trying to use, what Package Type did you select, what weight/dimensions are entering?

Re: Listing issue with shipping....

usps first class, however, I noticed I was using the international shipping, so changed it to calculated shipping for worldwide.

Using Letter as the package type, and updated weight to 3 oz instead of 1.  HOWEVER... I did notice that even though I had updated it to 1 oz prior (previous revision) it was back to 1lb or less and 1 oz.

Regardless, would you mind testing it again for me?

I still get the same error but when you revise a listing it goes back in the indexing queue so I may not be looking at your revised one, still the old one.

If you could post a screenshot of just the shipping section that may help.

I do see that a bunch of your sticker listings have the same error ("shipping not specified") so it has something to do with how those are set up, but I don't know what.

Here's the instructions for how to reach a live agent:

Tip - when the Chatbot opens, type in AGENT, then press Send to bypass the bots:

Re: Listing issue with shipping....

Are you planning to mail it in an envelope with a postage stamp?

That may be the issue then - mixing "envelope" and "first class".

I don't ever ship that way, so may need to get someone else to advise you.

Re: Listing issue with shipping....

I see that as well, and I have no idea why? I obviously used the "sell simular" for all my stickers, so they are probably all set the same way... ugh...

Re: Listing issue with shipping....

hmmm intersting.  I guess I didn't think about that.  Letter is what I used because I would send in a padded envelope (small of course).  Crud... I'm gonna shoot myself if that it.  LOL.  Hang tight and I'll update that. UGH.
