I wondered if someone can answer me why I am penalized for late shipment when it is shipped on time has the tracking showing it was scanned the same day I dropped it off and shipped before due date, but the post office took a month to deliver it. I don't think that is fair to penalize someone over an item the post office shuffled around place to place . It cost me my Top Rated . The post office has done that several times to me

@nicpa-60 If you uploaded tracking and shipped on time then you should not receive a shipping defect. The only way you'd get a defect for this is if the buyer filed a refund request and you didn't refund before eBay stepped in and forced a refund.

I contacted Ebay last night and then was emailed a letter stating that because my post office waited 3 days to scan my package after handing it to them is why I have a late shipment. I'm sorry but that is totally unfair, how am I suppose to make the post office do their job. I can't and I have checked other options of shipping and they are way too expensive for my customers for an iron on patch, which is what I make. So I get penalized for the post office not doing their job ?

@nicpa-60. I didn't know that your acceptance scan wasn't on time. This is why I stand in line and have packages scanned at the counter.
I know it's frustrating but that's the only way to make sure it's scanned in and scanned on time.

How did you get your item to the post office? Did you have them pick it up at your place or did you just drop it off at the post office? Either way, they may have misplaced your item and then scanned it when they found it 3 days later. Whenever I ship something, I take it down to the post office in person and ask for a receipt. They scan it in front of me and give me a printed receipt showing that they have received and scanned my item. I then staple that receipt to the receipt I get after printing an eBay shipping label. Never had an issue with late shipping. And if there ever was a question about the handling time, I have proof it was properly handled. I have a 1 day shipping policy.

Yes I went to the post office and handed it directly to the worker. My post office is extremely lazy when it comes to doing their job. I have spoken to them several times about it, but nothing gets done.

I will have to force them do it then, I usually have alot of packages and try not to hold up the line because I live in the city and it's very busy. They usually only have one worker at the counter, Last time I was there I waited 45 mins in line. The next closest post office is like 25 mins away. It's just ridiculous that they don't want to do their job.

The other thing I don't understand is I have 100% on time tracking uploaded and validated, but it shows late shipment. Can you explain how that is possible?
