Large Envelope Shipping Option

Is there a method to list something with a large envelope shipping charge?  First class is coming up as a package.

Re: Large Envelope Shipping Option

If you use the shipping calculator, you can select large envelope, then make that your selected service.  After selecting 'add a service' click calculate at the bottom of the list.

I assume you know you can't buy a label for a large envelope, since it has no tracking.  No tracking = full refund if the buyer says not received.

I use the 14" Polymailers for clothing and I use first class.  It comes up  as package or large envelope I believe.

Re: Large Envelope Shipping Option

You can specify large envelope on your listing, but you won't be able to print a shipping label from ebay since ebay only offers shipping labels that include tracking.  For a large envelope, you will need to use postage stamps or pay at the postal counter.

I don't see this option in the new listing template.

I don't see this option in the new listing template. It defaults to package rates.

Delete any service you have already selected.  Then select 'add a service' click calculate at the bottom of the list.  It should show you first class at the large envelope rate - select that and click offer service.

Edit to add - the system will let me select the large envelope rate, but it changes it to the package rate when it carries it back to the listing.  I guess the only way to charge the large envelope rate would be to use flat rate - the rate is only based on weight, not on distance, so you can look it up and enter that.  It does mean having to manually update rates when the PO increases rates
