Item not received

I purchased an item a month ago and have tried to message seller with no response. So i had ebay step in trying to get my money back or the item i purchased. I get a message with a tracking number from ebay that says item was delivered july 1. I was home all that week and check my security cams and no item was placed on my porch. When i try to responded to the message ebay sent with a evidently fraudulent tracking number it comes back oops we are experiencing technical problems.

Not receiving it doesn't necessarily mean the tracking is fraudulent - which carrier was it?

Have you contacted the carrier and asked for GPS tracking -they can determine exactly where the package was left in most cases.

They can also confirm if it was your address on the tracking or someone else's address, which would be fraud, and it does happen.

You will need that information to appeal the case.
