Item not delivered. Contacted seller who said to cancel help request with eBay and he'rd send anothe

Contacted seller through eBay help. He replied to cancel help request and he would send replacement item. Replacement never showed, eBay can't help as request closed. Follow up emails not answered.  Any help appreciated

Since you closed the request, you can no longer ask Ebay to help you.

The seller lied to you. NEVER close a request until the problem has been solved to your satisfaction.

You can file a dispute through Paypal if you used Paypal or contact your payment source.
