Greetings, community. I am curious about the general consensus of opinion toward listings that mismatch the item condition and the description. I’ve recently bought an item listed “open box” that was missing a critical accessory component (the item is basically useless without it), where the description states the item is not included. To me, this is a misrepresented item, although I acknowledge that eBay points buyers toward the description for details.
The seller does not offer returns. Is this worth pursuing with eBay, or would you consider this buyer carelessness?
