Hoping someone can help me -
A buyer ordered 7 books from me on 2/12 - I shipped the books via media mail on 2/13. They were to go from Pennsylvania to Colorado. If I look at the order details, it says the expected delivery date shown to buyer is 2/14 - 2/19. Media mail takes much longer than this, as ebay SHOULD know (especially these days). I fail to understand why they gave the buyer an expected delivery date of one day after I shipped the item.
Item appears to be stuck within the USPS system, which is often the case with media mail as it is put on the back burner. Buyer opened a not received case a few days ago, and now I have until tomorrow to resolve it or ebay will give them a full refund.
I tried to call customer service to extend the delivery date by 10 days, but the rep told me not to worry - the package is just stuck in shipment temporarily and nothing is going to happen. Apparently she did not know anything about being able to extend the expected delivery date.
I do know they do this around the holidays, but she knew nothing about it.
Now I am on the hook for the refund, and I'm absolutely sure the package will be delivered in a few days.
Help???
