Is there a way to remove a tracking number on an item?

I sent an item and it was temporarily lost, then sent from elsewhere with a new tracking number.  Now there are two tracking numbers by it, one shows delivered, the other not.  It was delivered and I can't seem to get rid of the first one so it still shows it is on the way (with multiple packages).

If anyone can make sense of what I wrote here, maybe you have a solution.  I'm concerned this could drag down my performance since it appears it's still in limbo.

I understand. But, you have to contact eBay if you can't change the tracking information. I hope that they can see and understand what's going on and make the change. Good luck.

I did have a chat with Ebay and she understood the situation but wasn't able to change (delete) the invalid tracking number.  When I try to delete it in the item info, the message reads "Unknown error occurred while updating tracking. Please try again."

I also tried to Void it as it shows in tracking that USPS is still awaiting the item, but that didn't work either as it showed as already used.  I contacted USPS who said it would have to be done via Ebay.  She did say after a certain number of days, it will leave the USPS system. 

So I am going to just let it go, though hopefully it won't affect my performance as a Top Seller, since it still reads as not fully delivered (coming in multiple packages).
