@angryfrankie Highly doubtful ... why did you ask, did someone tell you the item they are selling is there and will be sent to you if you pay them with gift cards or send payment through PayPal or some other form of payment outside eBay?
If so then it is a Scam-ola ...

No, I have a buyer in China who messaged their direct address after buying, which I don't do, but my "Print Mailing Label" eBay feature directs to the address in Glendale Heights, Il. I'm used to Kentucky or Virginia addresses, and with a long ID number.

To make sure you have your Seller Protection only ship to the address on file and if its the IL address ship it there.
The other approach is you message the Buyer and tell them to message you and request a cancellation so they can update their account with the correct address ... you can cancel using the reason Buyer requested without penalty as long as you hear back from them within your Handling time to avoid a late shipping defect. While one late shipping defect will have little to no affect on your account they take 12 months to roll off the account in most or many cases ... some might drop in 90 days depending on sales volume ... that little detail escapes me at present.
You can also cancel using the "Problem with address" as the reason without penalty BUT the Buyer can still leave Feedback ... and it may not be good.
