There should be an enrollment link on your payment account home page, if you have available funds - https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin

I appreciate your trying to help but NO this is not the case. I spent a bunch of time trying to figure this out on my own and then get it worked out with Ebay chat help section only to hit a brick wall. I was told that the rollout of this feature is not in effect and that only a small select group of sellers have access to this as an option. and further the said they are notifying customers whose current use of features and tools is compatible with spendable funds. whatever the @$#% that means. I have been around here for nearly 20 years and made alot of purchases and a few sales as well but i guess i dont fit into their narrow deffinition of select sellers.
In the name of progress the brains over at Ebay central command are somehow making this website LESS user friendly over time.

I’m sorry, I see nothing in the announcements or the policy page that offers any indication that spendable funds is not in full release.
devon@ebay Is spendable funds not fully released? If not, is there a target date for full release? Thanks!

Hey @wooden_flower! Members that are eligible for the spendable funds program should receive an invitation via email/eBay inbox. More about the programs details can be read here.
"Why haven’t I received an invitation to enroll in spendable funds?
If you haven’t received a notification to enroll yet, there is no other action required at this time. We are notifying sellers whose current use of features and tools is compatible with spendable funds."

What payout schedule have you selected? I'm thinking spendable funds would not be compatible with daily payouts.

Thats what i thought at first but i changed it to monthly on demand payouts but it didn't make any difference.
I think in the customer service chat i had they would have told me the correct settings if it were an option. They were very nice and I was polite with them. It is odd that they are being dodgy about the program. They tried to brush me off by directing me to the same FAQ page that I had already read about ten times to try and figure it out on my own before contacting them. But yes, its an invitation only pilot program. You would have to have recieved a message or an email to get enrolled. Again its odd how evasive they are. The FAQ page makes it seem like its an option for everybody even though thats not the case (please prove me wrong here). Hopefully it will actually happen at some time because it seems like a no brainer to me especially if they want to drive in more profits for the company. Which is what its all boils down to in the end.

It was worth checking. The 'current use of tools and features' made me think of daily payouts. It is probably something as simple as a volume threshold.
I don't think they are being evasive - they just don't want to say that they have no way of knowing why you have not been invited yet. 🙂

yes, could be true. maybe never now that i have stirred the pot. But no worries im sure they will get it up and running for everyone at some point.
